my new office.

my office has moved. to the patio. where i now can sit with my laptop and access the network and internet.
i love wireless.
i can work and get a tan.
if you need me, i'll be out here in the sun.
to bad my office phone isn't cordless.
that's next on my to do list.

notes to self.

1. next time you take allergy pills in the morning before work, make sure they're non-drowsy.
2. get married. you get lots of sweet presents.
3. when going to sit outside on the patio at work on a scorching hot day, wear flip-flops or something on your feet so that you don't actually burn the bottoms of your feet causing pain for the rest of the day whenever you walk.
4. when you're moving in a couple days, it might help to pack your stuff.
5. don't ever drink coffee at night. ever! (unless you want to be wide awake til 2 in the morning)

well, it's been a couple days since the big event... and i'm fully recuperated. so here are some pictures since i'm better with those than words.

so there are some of the pics... the day went pretty well, with a few bumps at the start (for me anyway cause i didn't like my hair or the dress... but it's not all about me so i got over it)... it was wierd having the wedding during the day though (the ceremony was at 1:30, with the reception following right after). it kinda threw the day off for me... the mood wasn't really right... oh well, it was fun anyway. congrats to ob and nicole who are in mexico right now.

ok, new game i heard of...

Step 1: Put your iPod or whatever on random.

who knew that being a bride would get you free alcohol? apparently that is the case in vancouver... free shots at the restaurant, shots boughten by a man sitting outside at the miletone's on robson... who's getting married next? can i come to your stagette party?

places i love.

i love to travel... i would love to go on an around-the-world trip and visit each continent... that would be sweet and i could spend a lot of time doing it... i also love to be with my friends, hanging out and laughing... or even to be by myself, reading or walking or doing whatever... but i was reminded tonight that one day in the courts of god is better than a thousand days in the places i love to be (or would love to be).

sweet hearts

so, my engaged friends and i were sharing a package of sweet hearts last night. we were eating them in no particular order (meaning we didn't take turns eating them), yet on every single one i got, the message was a single persons message (ie 'shy girl' or 'funny face' or 'smiles') and everyone they got was a gushy, couples only message (ie 'sugar lips' or 'your mine' or 'my girl'. how is that possible? do the sweet hearts know who's going to eat them and speak specifically to them? i'm thinking they do. my personal favorite message for me was 'hard luck'. oh sweet hearts, don't you know it.

thunder.

we had thunder today! i love thunder. we rarely experience it here so it's quite exciting for me when it happens. i don't know what i like about it so much... i think because it's so big, it just seems to surround you... i like it.

my prison is my computer today.
