my walk.

i went for a walk yesterday. here are a couple pictures.


oh the pop shoppe. this brings back memories from christmas' past. the shoppe is one where you go and pick out pop you want. i would pick orange. i remember drinking it and playing monopoly.


fluffy dandelions. who doesn't stop to blow them? oh to be a kid again.

the excitement.

right-o. it's one in the morning and i should've gone to bed eons ago, yet i sit here to update you on the non-changing happenings of my life. well, last night i went to a high-school theatre performance of 'the secret garden'. it was really well done for the most part. the not so well done part was the casting of colin. now, you are putting on a musical. chances are you are going to cast people who can sing. have you ever had it happen to you, that when it is extremely bad form to make any noise what-so-ever, this is when you are on the verge of bursting out into a booming, uncontrollable laughter? so it happened to me as this young colin sang his solo (i managed to hold it in though). they did not cast well. i felt sorry for the girl with the amazing voice (so proven on solos beforehand) who had to sing harmony to this caterwalling. it didn't bode well for her.
that was the excitement of my last day and a half. besides a little potty-training, which is always hoot.
now i'm really going to bed.

an outlet for my rage.

ever have the feeling like you're waiting to get mad at someone? not anyone in particular or even anyone you know? there's an overpass that i drive over quite frequently that has an off ramp for the freeway. on this particular off ramp, you have to inch out quite far before you can see if anyone is coming. so every time i drive over this said overpass, i'm waiting for someone to be inching out quite far so i can get mad at them for cutting me off, and if there is no one there i'm a little dissapointed. odd? maybe. now that i've written this i'll probably just laugh everytime i go over.

freedom

ahhhh... the freedom of a laptop. am i excited you ask? why yes, yes i am. my very own ibook. it's wonderful. and when my lovely vintage leather briefcase comes from the guy i got it from on ebay, my laptop life will be complete.

i hate cats

it was sunny yesterday. therefore i had my sunroof open. i accidently left it open. in the morning i found cat hair all over my seats. i hate cats.
side note... i watched pride & prejudice yesterday. loved it. beautiful. will be buying it. yes, a thousand times yes, i will be buying it.
